BHOR FOUNDATION
BHOR FOUNDATION is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working for the social, economic, and environmental development of rural communities in the hilly regions of Uttarakhand, especially in the Himalayan belt. The organization was established with the vision of creating a just, inclusive, and sustainable society where women and marginalized communities can live with dignity and self-reliance.
The foundation mainly focuses on empowering women in remote and underserved areas, with special attention to SC and ST women. Due to geographical isolation, limited livelihood options, lack of education, and social barriers, women in these regions face many challenges.
BHOR FOUNDATION works closely with local communities to address these issues and promote equal opportunities for growth and development.
